GCC Menopause Summit 2025
What a success!
The founders and steering committee would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to another truly impactful edition of the GCC Menopause Summit. Your presence, energy, honesty, and engagement helped turn this summit into far more than an event. It became a statement. Held on the 23rd October , the Summit was designed not simply to gather people together, but to make a declaration: that the GCC deserves real conversations about women’s health, driven by science, grounded in culture, and delivered without hesitation.
Over 450 attendees at the beautiful location Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai, including clinicians, researchers, healthcare experts, corporate leaders, policymakers, community voices, and families. The atmosphere made one thing clear. The silence surrounding menopause in the region has lasted long enough. Participants experienced expert-led insights across sleep, strength, intimacy, HRT, wellbeing, workplace realities, mental health, cancer, and family dynamics, every conversation women in the GCC have needed, brought into the light with clarity, empathy, and cultural relevance.
Our keynote speakers, including, Dr Maria Karakoulaki, Yulia Mintchim, Dr Marlain Mubarak, and Dr Aagje Bais, with a wonderful guest appearance by Marisa Peer. From meaningful panel discussions to laughter-filled moments and powerful
shared stories, the Summit created a community space that supported Men and women. Leaders acknowledged gaps and committed to change. Healthcare experts helped rewrite the language around menopause in the region.
And while the Summit has concluded, its momentum has not. This gathering marked the ignition point of a movement that continues forward through ongoing events, conversations, and initiatives that will keep building awareness, confidence, and clarity across the GCC.
