Dr Helen Cannon is a Consultant in Family Medicine with over 20 years of clinical experience across the UK and Abu Dhabi. She graduated from University College London with an MBBS and a BSc in Cell Pathology. She trained and practised within the NHS in the South of England and remains licensed with the UK General Medical Council, continuing to practise in the UK each year.

She has worked in the UAE for six years and has held senior leadership roles, including Medical Director at King’s College Hospital Abu Dhabi and Head of Family Medicine at Mediclinic Airport Road.

Her clinical interests include women’s health and menopause care, chronic disease management, child health and immunisation, cancer prevention, and lifestyle medicine. She led the first Menopause Conference in the UAE, training over 180 healthcare professionals, and is actively involved in medical education, having trained doctors and family medicine consultants in the UK and Australia.
